1 Green Pepper (de-seeded and chopped)
1 lb Minced Beef
14 oz can Chopped Tomatoes
1 tsp Curry Powder
1 tin whole button Mushrooms
2 tbsp Tomato Puree
Sprinkle of Mixed Herbs
2-3 Carrots (grated)
Salt & Pepper
2 tbsp Bisto Powder mixed with a little water (no more than 1/4 pint)
INSTRUCTIONS
1) Fry onion and green pepper in oil till soft, add mince and cook until brown.
2) Add tomatoes, mushrooms, tomato puree, curry powder, herbs carrots, salt & pepper.
Cook for 15 mins (covered).
3) Remove from heat and stir in Bisto (mixed with water) and cook for about 30-45 minutes. Stirring frequently
4) Eat and enjoy.
Sounds a strange mixture but don't knock it till youv'e tried it. If you don't like tinned mushrooms (my family prefer them) use fresh and the curry powder does not make it hot just gives it a nice flavour.
