I haven't a clue but its amazing how many people want to know how many carbs it has. I keep wondering WHY they want to know.
I have just done a search on it .. and it seems to be a drink. Take a look at http://www.jager.com/main.cfm I still wonder why the question of how many carbs it has keeps being asked.
Do you think it might have something to do with the Atkinson diet? (Protein & Fat - but no Carbs)
It is definitely a drink - a herby alcoholic one. There are a number of this sort of drink on the Continent, Jaegermeister probably being the most widely available. Another one is called Gammel Dansk (from Denmark, surprise !) and I was once given a small bottle of it. My wife found it absolutely vile, and I was not greatly enamoured either. However, I had a very small glass of it when I had a bad cold/flu and was absolutely fabulously improved the next day, to the point of being more or less over it. Some time later (months at least) I had a cold/flu coming on again and had a little Gammel Dansk: fit as anything the next day. In fact, I haven't had flu or cold for years now - could it be ? Naaaa, but it seemed to work.
Jagermeister is a liquour; I did not realise it was not well known in the UK; I am from Italy and it was very widely advertised on TV, magazines etc. I don't know what it tastes like as I am a tee total.
5029 - It's got a kind of cough mixture taste to it. Lovely in the winter tho' & earlier answers say it's great when you get a cough or cold. Cheers!! hic ;+D
