i have recently gave up alcohol - but amj still looking in the high st to find a replacement - i want something that tastes like it - just so i think im drinking it - any ideas....i have tried schloer and stuff like that but its ot the same ......help

Kaliber alcohol-free lager is surprisingly good.

No taste similarity, but try tomato juice with or without Worcester Sauce and Hot Tabasco. Campbells V8 Vegetable juice is gorgeous.

If you are in a bar and want a drink but fed up with the usual, try tonic water and angostura bitters. Tastes, and looks like, g & t.

Since being pregnant, I always have the problem of what to drink.

I quite enjoy a Ki-Ba (Mixture of Cherry and Banana Juice), not sure if that will match your taste.

Guava juice and tonic is a refreshing drink with a zing that has an interesting flavour. You can buy Guava juice in waxed cartons in the fruit juice section of supermarkets.

Oh, and a pint of alcohol-free lager has 40 calories, compared to 180 in a pint of normal lager.
