McDonalds and Burger King etc they are all bad but I have walked by KFC'S here in Australia and people are always petitioning outside it with leaflets on what they do to the chicken and what stuff they use. Its KFC now because they cant call it Kentucky Fried Chicken anymore because it doesnt contain enough actual "chicken" to be called it. If that doesnt put you off it I dont know what will I cant even look at it now. Sorry !
spk, the rumour about Kentucky Fried Chicken changing their name due to regulation by the food industry is just that - a rumour. The brilliant Snopes website which researches urban myths has tackled this one and similar KFC stories.

KFC - chickens reared (in appalling conditions) on soy largely from Brazil - grown instead of the rain forest. with excess chemicals, promoting land theft and virtual slave labour - just so a company can feed livestock and sell it to the consumer with a stack of unhealthy additives; Ill treatment of the birds - see comments from the PETA site for some info: http://www.kentuckyfriedcruelty.com/why.asp ; excess salt in the food and MSG to get a flavour: french fries that are typically not only potato - the rest is bulking agents, chemicals and other stuff to increase the profit level; fries not cooked in oil - far too costly - cooked instead in butter-flavoured oil - more chemicals for you to ingest...
Once in a while if you have to, but there are seriously better things to have.
