Food drink and cigs in berlin

I'm going to the world cup how much can i expect to pay in germany for lager both on and off trade? how much is the food? is it any good? what about the portions?

If i wanted to buy 3000cigs how much would it cost? What neighbouring countries sell cigs cheaply? what how near are they and what is the price?

Not too sure about cash and carry or trade prices, but decent lagers can be bought for 50 cents a bottle, and ciggies are around 4 euros for a pack of 19. This is coming from a teetotal non smoker. Food is also cheap, with a similar range to the UK, just no chippies or pie shops. Portions tend to be medium to large, unless you buy chips (pommes) which come in small paper trays with salt and paprika. If you are after more refined food, then Berlin will provide everything you need.
