I am always able to resist the kebab temptation, far too scared of what might be growing on it.

Phalls however, yes, but I've been eating them for years with no ill-effects. (Other effects though !)

I eat kebabs whilst sober..very occasionally I have to add. Sometimes you have that craving which only a big greasy pocket of unidentifiable meat can satisfy ;o)

I eat kebabs when sober too. AND I don't have a beer belly. :o)

I only eat kebabs when drunk or REALLY hungover. Although, saying that, I haven't had one for about 5 years! may go to the kebab shop tonight after game.

I had a fabulous kebab a few weeks ago, had been out all weekend and was still very drunk, felt really ill,and I bought one. It was huge, loads of salad too, could hardly finish it. Felt much better after I ate it though hhmmmm
I can't see what is wrong with grilled chicken, peppers and onions served with a salad in a pitta bread.

My hubby eats them when sobre, he loves doner kebabs. I'm not that keen on them but eat the chicken or kofte kebabs (when p*ssed or sobre!).

i am told that it is to do with lack of salt after a drink or three. The more you drink, the more you visit the bathroom, the more salt and water that you lose from the body.

Wanting a kebab and other savoury food is the body's way of replacing the salt. This also explain why you never fancy a cream cake after a night on the beer!

gef is right, the PROPER kebabs from a specialist shop or even a pizzaria (cos they usually make great kebabs) are fine, when u can see huge chunks of tasty meat.... its just that chip shop kebab thats "unidentifiable" :P i can identify however.... its like 50% cheap sausages that are only like 10% meat anyways, lol. and the other 50% of the kebab is usually pig snouts, trotters, tongues, all the bits people dont really want to eat.... obviously you chuck some spices and herbs in there too.... thats bout it
