HELP! what's the best way to loose weight from your thighs?
6 Answers
What is the best way to lose weight from your thighs? I'm going on holiday this summer and I'd like to lose abit of weight off my thighs or tone up my legs abit. as I am only 5'2, my legs always look bigger then they should and with an inside leg of only 29-30" my thighs look massive... I'm a size 8 and weigh 8 stone so it's not like I'm over weight or anything... just everything I eat goes into my legs..! I've read in many places that for women it's difficult because of various things.. but can anyone help please? any idea's would be much appreciated! thanks xxx

It sounds like you dont need to diet as you're weight/height seems healthy.
I used to have bad saddle-bags but they have gone since I joined the gym. I cycle and use a cross trainer. This is by far the best way to get results.
No, they might not be quick results but I would say you will notice a difference within a month if you go 3/4 times a week for an hour.

I posted this very question about 6 months ago because I used to have a gap but lost it after having children. Its soming back again. The crosstrainer has helped to tone my bum and legs no end. I also have a thighmaster. which i squeeze all the way through corrie. Yoga or pilates might help you too. I think that by making your legs a little stronger by putting down a little bit of muscle mass might actually help burn fat in that area (or something like that, i never really listen to my instructor I just get on with it). i would think that cycling would help too.
I do have a bike my the saddle went missing about a year ago so maybe i'll buy a new one! and also I drive to college every day and to work at the weekend so i guess walking instead wuld do me some good. I don't particularly want to lose weight, maybe toning up would be a better option? thanks for your ideas, very useful will get onto it tomorrow!
Cycling!
It won't necessarily help you to lose weight FROM your thighs, but it will tone your legs and make them APPEAR 'smaller'.
I started cycling this time last year and had a loooooong break over the winter (well... it was awful chilly out there!) but have gone back to it because it worked wonders!!
It's also a huge amount of fun!!
Good luck :0)
