Do you find it really annoying?

Most American programmes start off with ' Tonight on .. ' and they show the best bits, then, just before the break they say 'And coming next on ...' and they show that too. Personally I'm only getting half a programme. Why can't they just show it without a lead-up ! I've come to the point where I shut my eyes cos I don't want to see 'what's coming up' - I prefer to just be entertained by the articles. Oh and just to add to my general gripe, most of the programmes take up the last ten minutes recapping what you have already seen !! Must be REALLY low budget stuff - or maybe that's what I enjoy.

Some police force somewhere in the world but usually Hicksville, Nevada chasing some baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad guy who chose the wrong day in the wrong town o fllee justice and who wont be doing that again for a while!!!!!! (or something similar)
where they show the police video (and if you look at the time on the video, its often shown out of sequence) gi a running commentary and then they show most of it again with the same guy summarizing what weve just seen.

Ah yes, World's Most Gormless Police Officers or America's Most Psychotic Bounty Hunters type programmes are notorious for this - and it seems to be spreading over here too. Ever seen any of the Street Crime UK shows on Bravo? Any items in Part Two normally get previewed three times - at the start of the show ("tonight on Street Crime UK...), at the end of part one ("coming up after the break on Street Crime UK...) and at the start of part two ("still to come on Street Crime UK...).
Yep! Agree with everything already said....
When Forensic Detectives was first aired several years ago it was precise and to the point. Now all those type shows go on and on repeating what has already been established, probably to stretch out the programme.
Seeing a goal from north, south, east and west, birds eye view etc is ok, but when they show a spectacular road crash (non of these people were seriously hurt!), 4 or 5 times, it does rather test your intelligence..'Why am I watching this drivel?'
Thank goodness they don't do it on 24.
Prison Break and Desperate Housewives didn't resort to this either.
