bazooker?

allredy answered this sort of as well in another section who else can remember bazooker chewing gum or were i come from we call it chuddy, it was alittle pink squre and when you opened it , it was wrapped in a little comic?

yeah i remember these but i thought i was wrapped in those fake tattoo things, or am i thinking of something else?

Yep - I remember this - it was called Bazooka and the comic inside was all about Bazooka Joe and his friends. Sometimes you got the little comic sheet and tattoos. the bubblegum was divided down the middle so that you could eat it in two goes. However, my recolleciton was that one bit wasn't ever enough to blow decent bubbles with, so you always ended up eating both bits at once.

They still make them. I buy them by the boxes for my nephews and nieces. They love the comic wrappers!

Yep but spelt Bazooka - American company

There was a club that you could belong to and get various trivia type things - bit like a secret club - invisible ink secret agents stuff and the like. I think at one time you did get some tatoos - the type you float in water then slide them onto your wrist or arm, and also seem to remember some little cartoon story - sorry but it is vague - seems so loooong ago!

I'd forgotten the secret club stuff, Theman! I also seem to remember that the cartoons were in sequence and it was a big thing to collect all of them - not that we ever did, so there were always gaps in the story - boo!

I also remeber Bazooker bubble gum. It was the best. You could get 5 for 10pence at our corner shop.........my brother once got some stuck around his neck at school and had to go to casualty to get it removed!!!!!!! so he may not agree that it was great!
