when i was young we sometimes used to have corned beef sliced with out saturday night dinner. I haven't had it in years and decided to have some last night. I opened the tin but when it came to cutting slices it was all mushy! is there a trick to this? We thought perhaps i should have put it in the fridge first??

just put it in the fridge, it will slice fine, or mix it with cooked onions and beans with mash on top, and bake lovely

mmm yum corned beef hash!! i boil my potatoes, mash them, the corned beef and some onion together. top with cheese and bake in the oven for about 20 mins til the cheese is melted. yum!! xXx
arhhh cheese on top, forgot that bit, and a little chilli (if you like it!)

takes 30 mins ish, about gas mark 7, depends how crunchy you like the topping

i also love french stick with corned beef, cheese and a little fresh chilli, stick it in the oven for 20 minutes, best sandwich ever!
Just buy it sliced! Tescos basics is surprisingly good.
Try "Cowboy Pie".

Line a baking tin with pastry, dice up a tin or 2 of corned beef, depending on the size of your tin, then add baked beans. Cover with more pasty and cook for about 30 mins, gas 6 and serve with mashed pots and gravy. Yummy.
