can anyone recommend any recipes for me to do with my eight year old sister and her friend when they come up to my house in a few weeks?

I'm hoping that nobody is monitoring my internet usage. I've just realised that my search for 'cooking children' on the BBC's website might be misinterpreted :-)

Anyway, I found this great article about cooking with children:

chris the cannibal ladies and gentleman. give him/her a round of applause.
i have a 7 and 9 year old. they love to make toad in the hole, tuna pasta bake, pancakes, muffins, pastry. in fact pretty much anything as long as you supervise the safety part.
Buenchico ! I feel that you and 4getmenot may have plenty to discuss re your preference in eating people.
DIY pizza always goes down well. You provide the bases and a selection of toppings and the kids do the rest. They can make faces, patterns - all sorts.

We used to do sweet pizza too - chocolate, fruit, hundreds and thousands etc.
I was looking for the correct recipe for All Bran Loaf and found what I wanted and several other good recipes on the Kelloggs web site..
