all the disgusting black sweets from the bags were replaced recently by blackcurrant instead
but i have been wrong before though was a long time ago

I have bought sports mixture loads recently and there has been no licorice so either they have stopped or I've just been VERY lucky!

If you are talking about Lion's Sports Mixture - I entered into some correspodence with 'Maynards' who appeared to have taken over the Lion brand. I let them know that their pathetic effort to continue 'Sports Mixture' did not match up in any way with the texture of the gums made by Lion and their replacement of the black gums with the blackcurrant gums was totally out of order. Sadly, I received no response but I can stil get 'Lion' brand Sports Mixture and Midget Gems at my local Booker Cash & Carry. But for how long?

You can still get them here in sunny South Wales! never been anything other than the liquorice black 'uns as far as I'm aware.
Bit worried by ACB's post though!! :-(
