You can freeze yoghurt, but expect it to seperate when defrosted, and the whole texture will be 'off' though the yoghurt itself will still be edible. You can of course buy frozen yoghurts anyway, but hese products contain a whole stack of stabilisers, fats and possibly other chemical thingys and so on to make them edible. Plus any pro-biotic bacteria present (good stuff to have) will be killed in the freezing.

Its really not worth the saving to be honest......There are bargains and there are 'bargains' to get you to buy the damn things.......
The yoghurts usually have a good couple of weeks sell by date - I have frozen light yoghurts in the past but they dont defrost well as nickmo says - if you do freeze them they are better eaten when still slightly frozen - like a "slush puppy"
not sure about defrosting them, but put a lolly stick through the top and you have yourself a yummy lolly!
