I am thinking of buying one of these. Does anyone know if they are good as I have seen them in the Lakeland catelogues for ages and the recommendations in them seem to state they are incredible and can cook anything from cakes to chicken - seems amazing if that is the case.

I`ve no personal experience of using one, but an elderly friend of mine had one for a long time and reckoned that it was the best cooker she`d ever had. I think that if you are cooking for one, or don`t have the space for a full size cooker, then they are very good.
One of the neighbours who was having her kitchen remodelled used this ,and a microwave, in the absence of full cooking facilities. She still uses it a lot for her family of five, she says for some things it is much cheaper to run than her sparkling new range cooker. Easier to clean too.
