Tesco value vegetable steamer

I'm thinking of buying one - are they any good?

osprey - Would that be the three tier one for around a 10.00? If it is then I would say they do the job! The plastic knob on mine came off, but I stuck it back on with some superglue/ no problems since.

save your money, put your washed chopped veg in the microwave in a sandwich/foodbag pierce it give it 2 - 3 minutes it has the same effect, all me freinds and family do it now, lot cheaper, and no steamer taking up space on your worktop

Microwave is much quicker too. My bought steamer has never been used.

I agree, use the microwave, I put my veg in a bowl a little bit of water & cover with cling film...works perfectly

Thanks for your comments and suggestions. How do you suggest I steam fish? Can this be done in a micrwave as well?

I`ve cooked all my veg in the microwave for years. Don`t know when I last used the rings on my cooker.
