If you go to a shop selling/grinding their own beans, you could have it ground to espesso level.

Try Whittards....

: )
Doesn't that rather defeat the point of espresso?

just knew someone would say that!!! i am trying not to have caffeine but love strong black coffee hence my search :)
I know exactly what u mean bubbles4920, I love drinking espresso or lattes etc, but don't necessarily want to take in loads of caffeine for health reasons : ) I've since noticed that some supermarket coffee (in the valve-type bags) say they're intended for all coffee machines etc. Do these not work too well in your espresso maker?
Question Author
afraid i dont have an espresso maker anymore as i wasnt using it and hated cleaning it. so, my search is for an instant espresso that is decaffeinated:)
