I bought some turkery last week and the bbd was the 9th of nov, but i never ususally go off these but wondered do you think it will still be ok to eat today? its been in a sealed bag and in the fridge since I bought it?
Would depend if it was a Best before or a use by date... If it was meat then it would probably be a use by, which means exactly that, - use by the date on the pack, whereas a best before means that the product will be at its best until that date, then the quality would deteriorate, but still be ok to eat ( ususally get this on chocolate bars etc)
normy its definetly not going to have a 'Best Before' label on fresh meat. Any meat that has been in the fridge for that long and past its use by date should be discarded. Not worth getting ill over it.
