Good Cookery Course
5 Answers
Does anyone know of a good cookery course that I can get for my dad? I want one of those day workshops. He's quite good at cooking so doesn't want a basic one, just something that can challenge him a bit. He lives in Essex so we need something fairly close to that. Please help!

If he's in the eastern part of Essex would he consider travelling to Norwich City's ground where Delia hangs out? We paid for my mother inlaw and a friend to have a day there for her 70th birthday. They had a fantastic day, met some lovely people. Delia doesn't do the demos but she had lunch with them. there is more info on delia online. It is quite expensive but they thoroughly enjoyed themselves and boy, my m in law is not easy to please
This may be a bit late but I have been to the 'Ashburton Cookery School' twice now and it is great, lots of hands on work instead of most cookery courses where you have to sit back and watch the chef do his stuff. I live in norths Herts and Ashburton was a bit of a trek but I did 2 day courses. I suppose that Ashburton will be just as far for you as it was me. However it was worth it, I am going to book myself on another course!!!
