Has anyone got one and is it worth it? I was thinking of one for a Xmas present and I wondered if it actually worked. I can't see how it can crush garlic unless you shake it for half-an-hour! They look nice and I do need something for making up dressings.

I've got one. It does work but not as well as a garlic crusher.
The review I seen said it took a lot of energy for minimal results. Probably fun the first couple of times, then the novelty will wear off!
I have one and use it all the time. It's not so good for crushing garlic, peppercorns, chillis etc not half as good as the ads make out, but for mixing up herbs, spices, oils and vinegars to make coatings, rubs and dressings its nearly unbeatable. It's just so easy to use and clean.
