Googling away I noticed about a year ago a question from Rabat, " does anyone rememeber Splendo - a short lived rival to Marmite?"
I do- it was alive in the mid fifties (wrinkly-time) and came in a green and cream flattish jar. We lived in Sleaford Lincs. I don't think it was around in by the sixties.

When Splendo start and end? And in which parts of the country could you find it?
