Xmas pudding

I bought a 750g. xmas pudding from Sainsburys. can anyone tell me how long this should be microwaved in a 700watt microwave. The instructions are not on the packaging

You are better off putting it in the dishes and doing it seperately. 2 mins per portion. The fat content makes it harder to do as a whole.

I agree with Pea Pod that microwaving separate portions would be best. However 2 minutes might be rather a long time if you're only serving small portions.

My 100g Tesco Christmas puddings, require just 55 seconds in a 700W microwave oven. The 454g Tesco pudding, that someone has just given me, requires 3� minutes. (In both cases, stand for 1 minute).
