How long can you keep an open bottle of red wine? I've just remembered I've got a completely full bottle which was opened last Friday night! I assume it will still be ok as it will have 'breathed' a lot, but I didn't want to take any chances?

Also, it hasn't had a tissue cork or anything in, just left open and uncorked.

If so, I could just do with a glass..... mmmmmmm. x

Shouldn't really be any problem. It might tast slightly oxidised and a tiny amount of the alcohol may have evaporated. Enjoy! Cheers, Andy
Try it. If it tastes OK. Sup it.
I once went on a tour of a brewery and I asked the head brewer why does beer sometimes taste of vinegar and he explained that when you subject any alcoholic beverage to air there is an immediate chemical reaction which turns the alcohol to vinegar.

If it smells off throw it away, it's that easy
If you think it is a bit off, put it in the gravy or cook with it somehow, don't waste it.
