whole leg of lamb how to cook it ?

hiya,bought a whole leg of lamb on special offer,dont know how long to cook it for ,any help would be great,it weighs 1.7kg.

In short, 20 mins per lb plus 20 mins. for a leg of lamb. Essential to let the meat rest for at least 15 mins before carving.

And 1.7 kg is 3.75 lbs in case you haven't got a 'converter'.......

If you make little channels with a knife all over the leg, you can stuff then with some garlic cloves, knobs of butter and sprigs of rosemary before you roast, which wil make it even yummier
