I was in asda today and on sale there was GARLIC soap, it was a stainless oval shape about 5' long, no insructions on it, I asked a member of staff what it was for, and he didn't even know what it was, do any of you lot know what GARLIC soap GARLIC soap is...................
i don't know exactly. i think it's to be used like soap, to get rid of garlic smells i guess. might work along the lines of the detergent free laundry balls i use instead or washing powder. they really work, even on pooey nappies!
you use it like a bar off soap, rub it in your hands under running water to get rid of garlic, onion and other strong smells, actually works really well!
If you have a stainless steel sink you can just rub your hands around that to take away the smell. My daughter sometimes uses large spoons to the same effect.
I love the web! I was in Asda tonight, wondering the exact same thing. Made for an entertaining queuing experience!Anyway, I bought it, secure in the belief that Mr Google would provide the answer. And he did. I'm going to print this page out and hang it by the product next time I'm in Asda. What I'm wondering now is, could I get rid of garlic breath by sucking a ball bearing?
To remove garlic breath, chew some fennel. The better Indian restaurants will offer this at the end of the meal, sometimes coated with mint in the UK like tiny sweets.
It is a metal shape which you use like a bar of soap and it removes the smell of Garlic and Onions from your hands and fingers.I have also been told after a heavy Garlic meal if you lick it it clean away the taste of Garlic.
