Can I burn logs on my open fire. I'm not sure if I am in a zone where it it smoke free. If it is, then what would happen if someone reported me.

I find it a bit of a joke these days with everyone having barbeques, chimeras and firepits in their gardens. Let alone waste incinerators and so on to get rid of rubbish.

Phone your local council to find out exactly what you can and can't do - every council is different.
