Although I guess it could also largely depend on what the filling/ toppings are. Quiche is generally cheese and eggs which are both high in cholesterol but on the other hand pizza can be topped with very fatty toppings such as pepperoni and cheese...
So... Quiche in my opinion is unhealthier than pizza.

Pastry is only made from hydrogenated fat if you buy it ready made. No self-respecting cook would make pastry from margarine, as it has too high a water content and the pastry never goes crisp enough. Pastry is high in fat, it's true to say, but quite honestly, unless you eat it every day and in huge quantities it's no more unhealthy than anything else. It's the quantity and quality of food you eat, combined with a lack of excercise that leads to obesity. If you live on pizza and quiche, or other ready made supermarket or takeaway rubbish, you are going to be a lot more unhealthy (and probably fatter) than someone who eats properly cooked, fresh food, made from proper ingredients.
You've obviously never eaten a good one. Most, it has to be said, are (rhymes with quite), but made properly, are delicious. There are, however, many, many ways to really make a ****** of them. Most involve using rubbish ingredients, cooking the pastry and filling at the same temperature (dear God!) and not baking the pastry case first. And real men do eat them. Ask Mr A. He's a real man. And he doesn't have breasts.
