Quite simply, it isn't. There's no ham in turkey ham. Instead it's processed turkey with added flavourings, sliced to look and (almost but not quite) taste like ham.
You'll find that In muslim countries it's very often the case that a hotel will serve westerners 'bacon' made in the same way, from chicken or beef.

But it doesnt really taste like just turkey
I'm not surprised. Check the pack for ingredients. It's probably something like this...

Turkey, brine, stabilisers, milk protein, dextrose, whey protein, flavouring, antioxidant, acidity regulator, flavouring, preservative, yeast extract.

After whats happening at Bernard Mathews breeding factories, it could be a hybrid Turkig ! Don't eat any !
Ham doesn't have to be pork, though it generally is.

It's actually the thigh and buttock of any animal used for meat - it's a cut of meat, not a breed.

So turkey ham is quite possible.

thats what I said to someone dzug and they said that wasnt right. Oh well I ate it for my dinner yesterday anyway
