Can anyone tell me why there were no jersey royal potatoes in the shops last year when they were in season, at least there was none where I live.

Don't know where you are , but we had them here in the SE....
I seem to remember though there may have been a shortage of a good crop due to the weather last spring . It was either cold or wet (or both )at sowing time or harvest time I believe.

Hello,
We had them here in the Midlands as well. However I think Jersey Mids have a much nicer taste to them but couldn't find them anywhere. Anyone else had any luck with finding these?!
