my mum used to make a tasty meat loaf. I was wanting to make on for her, bit of a surprise as i dont often cook so found this recipe on BBC. We used to eat it cold but this does not say if it can be eaten cold - looking at the ingredients would you think it would be ok. You cook it for about 1hr 30 mins - then I would just let it cool. I am a bit of a novice - but trying. thanks in advance for your help.

Ingredients
750g/1lb 10oz lean minced beef
175g/6oz sausage meat
1 egg, beaten
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon sage leaves, chopped
1 tablespoon mustard
1 heaped tablespoon tomato pure
110g/4oz fresh breadcrumbs
 tsp paprika
salt and freshly ground black pepper

I can let you have our American Meatloaf recipe(if you're interested) which is delicious... Its a minced pork and beef mix - we use it often.... they said to use the leftovers cold in a sarnie....
