Have you tried Lidl's Java chocolate ?
11 Answers
I'm not really bothered either way actually, but have you ? And I don't want all this old ***** about "oh well I passed Lidl on Thursday but I was too busy so I went to Tescos instead". No I want the TRUTH, the naked truth, warts and all, but please take off the scabs first.
So, have you, or haven't you ?

Woofter - I haven't tried the Java chocolate from Lidls - but I am a massive fan of the place - I love the fact you can get good continental meats and cheeses for a fraction of the price of Tescos and such like. I shop there all the time, and my weekly bill is SO much less than it used to be. I WAS a shop snob, only going to Sainsbusy's but came to earth with a bump when I realised how much I was spending. I can honestly say I have not noticed a difference in teh quality of their produce, and would go as far as saying that in some products, the quality is higher (fresh veg and salads).
lidl is fantastic, the chocolate is superb, as is the selection of cooked meat and cheese. They also do excellent icecream and frozen fish. I do most of my shopping there and I think i save at least 30% on what I spend in Tesco.
aldi is also excellent, especially there frozen turkey crown and lamb shanks.
Used to be shop snob but no more!
