we love the chicago town one that you bake from a cold oven so you don't have to wait for it to warm up takes 25 mins but its worth the wait yummy! but for nice taste and cheap it has to be asda own brand 3 for 5 loads of flavours and taste great. don't buy iceland ones they hurt your teeth as the crust is too hard ..... happy munching x
Well, it is my belief that frozen pizza is bad for you because of its processed nature and poor quality of meat used. Something about hydrogenated fats in there as well. Usually high in fat too due to doughy nature hence should be consumed as an occasional treat and not plough through several per week.
I'd go for freshetta first (wait for special offers as they have them regularly).
Iceland stonebaked are my fave value pizza. Anything stonebaked and thin are usually better IMO.
I dont like dr oetker, chigaco town or goodfellas but i havent tried la botegga.
My tip is to never follow the cooking instructions. That might be why munchiepea had a hard crust! Temps lower than 220c seem to give dodgy results (apart form if your pizza's a fat american one)
Gef, have a look at the ingredients list on a goodfellas pizza. I seem to remember counting almost 20 non-food ingredients.
I might be exaggerating though
