Thirsty already

I have to fast for blood tests tomorrow and ,only less than 1 hour into it,I am feeling like I could murder a cup of tea and something to eat!!!!
I know its probably just because I cant but its going to be a long night ahead.

are you not allowed any fluids? water can make you feel full and quench your thirst better than a cup of tea will

Thankyou for your answer redcrx.I didnt think so as I was told not to eat or drink but I managed to get my mind off it by going to sleep for the night.Now the test is done and I am fed and watered again .

When I used to have regular blood test I made sure that they were booked in for first thing in the morning so I could fast from 8 the previous night... not such a big deal then

Yes haggisdj,I agree.Mine was booked for 9.20 am so at least I didnt have long to wait once I was up .
