and I wouldn't say they are a rich delicacy really. they're not that expensive to buy from fishmongers and even in restaurants they're only about �2 each.

tesco are selling them for 48p, which is cheap as chips. and people on benefit can certainly afford chips, so why not oysters?

You can also pick them up from the fish counter in any of the Loch Fyne restaurants or on their website. Their oysters are fantastic, and they purify them before they are sold - no more food poisoning!
