Some years ago I remember going to see a musical play at the theatre called Hot Stuff where the central character was called Lucy Fur and the music was based around the 1970's. Has anyone out there seen this play, or know if it still exists. It was fantastic and I went to see it over a dozen times. Would love to hear from others who may have enjoyed it.

I first saw it in '84 and like you was bowled over by the brilliant characterisation and overall wit of the piece. Sadly in '92 the company went bust and having spoken to the then director a couple of times recently, the play is about to be reopened at shaftesbury avenue.
Hope I've helped,

Thanks for the info. Will keep my eyes open. Everyone I mention this play to has never heard of it and I was beginning to think it was some sort of recurring dream!!!! Except of course my husband was with me when we went so it must be real. lol
I went to see it with my dad a few years ago.

Not really my thing tbh
