I am in need of a GREAT recipe for green beans (haricots verts). Will be serving as a side dish for meatless lasagna. I am allergic to fresh garlic, but powder is fine. Any ideas?? TIA

When you want to serve them simmer a little water in a frying pan, add a couple of finely chopped shallots, a big knob of butter, the beans and s&p. Stir around until warmed through and serve, drained of any excess liquid.
