After cooking on the grill, to remove the gunge I heat the grill, pull plug out of socket then poor hot water on gunge, use tongs and a pad of paper towel to mop up gunge. Anyone know an easier method. Cleaning takes the shine from an otherwise excellent method of cooking

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.The same way, except use a damp general purpose cloth (one of those cheap blue or green stripey things) and my fingers. Use of fingers rather than tongs cos they get into the grooves really effectively, however warning that the cloth starts to frazzle and you need to watch that your fingers don't too!
