Who has told her this?

Question Author
She went for colonic irrigation and was told she had a yeast infection in her bowel
Tell her to see her GP instead of listening to those people.

yeah, i'd go see my gp, must be mighty hard to avoid yeast and sugar.

I thought that myself, I think that they have played on the fact that she is always unwell with various stomach problems and she was told all this stuff about 'they were amazed that the doc had never spotted this before' and she will have to go for a number of visits at 60 quid a time. Its a shame really cos she is the type of person to believe what they tell her and will let it rule her life so no beer ,wine white bread and pasta ,choc ,biscuits and cake etc
I don't agree with colonic irrigation at all.

I washes out and kills the bugs and bacteria that are necessary to keep the bowels and workings healthy.

The bowels and intestines are designed in such a way that they look after themselves unless there is a medical problem - and colonic irrigation won't help then.
Anyone suffering from colitis, crohns disease or diverticulitis should definitely not have this treatment.

The treatment can stretch the bowel to such a degree that it doesn't work properly, resulting in 'leakage'.

WE ARE NOT MEANT TO STICK THINGS UP OUR BACK PASSAGES.

Tell your friend to see her GP about her stomach upsets, drink pleny of water and eat a balanced diet - including the occasional bar of chocolate and glass of beer, unless her GP tells her differently.
