i dont like apples, but i do like apple juice, am i getting the same amount of goodness from the apple juice as i would from eating an apple?

You are missing all the fibers and pectin from the apple.
Oh, and I almost forgot, the massage your gums get from chewing the apple.

Basically yes.

Re the recent 5 a day campaing, a glass of fruit juice is equivalent to one piece of fruit or veg.

However................ 2 or 3 or 4 glasses are still only one piece of fruit.

Smoothies are different if you use the whole fruit.

Go for a decent quality, no added ANYTHING apple juice and the goodness is there.
Does that mean a pint of cider is part of my 5 a day.
Whoopee 5 pints of cider is good for me.
No snuggy. No and thrice no.
I recall reading somewhere that cloudy apple juice is better for you than the clear juice!
Copella make good apple juice, it is my fave.
