Help! I have several bottles of champagne in my cupboard, some are a year old while a couple of others are about 4 years old. The trouble is I don't know which is which. Will they all still be drinkable or is there any way of telling which will be drinkable or am I just going to have to throw them all away (which I really don't want to do).
At all the champagne houses I visited they always said 1-2 years for their house champagnes (non vintage and not their pretige cuvees), but in reality this probably errs on the side of caution.
So go on, celebrate the fact its Tuesday and pop a bottle to see... I know I would :-)
