What happens is that nerve impulses travel from your mouth and tongue to your brain, which says yuck this is horrible and sends more nerve impulses back to your eyes causing them to pucker up. It's called feedback and is largely absent from the ape community on here.

well what I dont understand is if the sours are so repulsive why do people continue to eat them (still pulling faces of course)
