Chocolate fountains

Can someone tell me - before I go out and buy one - when you have finished using the fountain and you empty the chocolate out can you reuse it? (the chocolate that is, not the machine!) I would assume you can otherwise it would be bleeding expensive, but just want confirmation

Just think of all the unwashed hands and other things that are going to be dipped into your chocolate.
On a different note, I recently went to buy a kilt outfit where I saw a notice advising hire clients that they would be responsible for the additional cleaning costs involved after chocolate was spilled over outfits by careless guests at weddings where these fountains had become popular.

We've had a little domestic one for a couple of years at it's been a big hit. - we never have a problem with left over chocolate - it all goes! That said it was a bit hit and miss getting the consistency right for it to flow properly - I would use the specialist choc that is sold for these machines - (something to do with the % of cocoa solids in different types of chocoloate)
