What's up for the weekend???

Back to school for 2 days and we already have a 3 day weekend. Monday is Labor Day here in the US it marks the end of summer. Not that we had much summer here either;cold and rainy. Might go to BBQ on sat if I can convince my brother to come stay with mom. Anyone have fun planned for the weekend????

You are back to school already? That's harsh. We go back next week. I thought you would have had better weather than us! Which state are you in?
Spock- most different american spellings make FAR more grammatical sense than english ones.

Doc Spock- I guess I spell COLOR incorrectly also! LOL I'm changing my name on here because I feel too much pressure to spell and write well at all times :) I can't be writin' the good English always!

Scarlett- I am in NY. Part of NYC. (Not Manhattan) It is so humid today. Which is normal now that we are back in school with no air conditioning. We'll have 90 degree days now I'm sure. Our students come back on Tuesday. We had 2 days of meetings, the same meetings I sit in every September. I think we killed a forest today with all the paperwork they handed out. Boring.

Bigmama- how are you and your roof doing?
I'm hoping to rest up somewhat.

Remember to put all the whites in your wardrobe in storage til next season . You can't wear it after labour day sweetie! lol. You could always pop into Jet East to meet your mates, then retire to your Hamptons loveshack afterwards. xxx.

Hi,engTeach...I was just in NY(well Long Island actually) to visit my family...I live in the UK. It was 90deg in the shade last Saturday tho my brother said that they had rain every week so far. Cold and rainy in the US is NEVER as cold and rainy as in the UK...believe me!!! lol! Hope you have a super weekend-and don't worry about your spelling!!

Sense4all- Daaahling I'm leting the staff use my Hamptons retreat for the Holiday weekend. So I'll be stuck in Queens for the duration with no chauffer or cook!!!! LOL

I guess I'll put all my whites in my summmer closet. (More like a cardboard box)
