walnut whips

hubby bought me a Walnut Whip 2nite and the walnut was on the outside and on top of the chocolate cone,,, now as i remember, the walnut was always inside the cone of chocolate and at the bottom of the marsh mallow mix ........... he thinks hes right, so do i can anyone elighten us... by the way it was still yummy

They've always been on the outside, because I never ate them and only liked the inside!! I'd never have eaten the insides if there was a walnut in there - yuk!

I can remember when there used to be one inside at the bottom and also one on the top!

As far back as I can remember, Walnut Whips always had the walnut on top, on the outside of the chocolate because I remember that was the bit I never liked as a child and always pulled it off. So sorry, don't like taking sides but I'm with the husband on this one!

Do they still make them then?! Will have to hunt one down... x

I seem to recall the 2nd walnut disappeared from inside the 'whip' around the late 60s or early 70s.

I remember when there was one inside as well as one on the top. And the coffee ones were 'orrible!!
