has anyone ate the skin? is it ok like a peach, or vile? i love the fruit but hate peeling them and i get in such a mess at work!

I always eat the skin! Rub it quite firmly first to get the fuzz off it though. It is quite bitter and some people don't like it (my hubby thinks I am an animal for eating it).

Why do you peel them? Cut them in half and then scoop the flesh out with a spoon!

I used to eat the skin too! It is tougher than a peach skin and quite chewy but not a lot of taste off it I found
