I use Lurpak Light spreadable and it really is - straight from the fridge ! lovely
The spreadable butter I use says to take it out of the fridge a few minutes before you want to use it. If I do then I don't rip my bread!
I have had the exact same experience with Anchor Spreadable - rubbish! What is the point of it being spreadable ? May as well buy the original one - tore several of my slices of bread to bits, I ended up putting the tub in the microwave for a quick blast. Annoying!
