Foody nutters, please advise. How long can you leave a defrosted lasagne in the fridge for before it turns ropey? And by ropey I mean unsafe to eat as opposed to taking on the characteristics of rope. It's homemade leftovers by the way and not supermarket junk. I thank you all from my toesies to my nosies.

i'd eat it up to 2 or 3 days in the fridge. why not freeze it to use when you want?
oooops, just re-read your post and see it's already been frozen, so forget the bit about freezing it!!

Well, it's been defrosted for almost two days and I'm about to eat it for my lunch. Wish me luck folks!!
I would eat within 3 days of defrosting, but remember if you defrost in the fridge then it can take up to a day to defrost thoroughly so usually for me this is about 4 days from when I take it out of the freezer / 3 days from defrosted.
