Frying Pork Crackling

I have decided to cook the crackling separately from the joint of pork I have, and was wondering if I could do it in a frying pan?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.scooby get your joint which will have crackling fat on the top make sure its scored and dry,rub a little salt and vegetable oil on top, put in the oven at 200/220 degrees for 20 to 30minutes till crispy, then lower heat to 170degrees for about a hour, it depends on the weight of the piece of pork on long the cooking time will take!
