ok, so tonight my son and his girlfriend made me a birthday cake for tomorrow!
It is better than anything he could ever have bought me and my eyes keep filling up when i lok at it! :-)!

An emerald necklace from my sister for christmas (and birthday as the two are right next door to each other) when I was going through a rough time and she wanted to cheer me up.

It got lost in my latest move though I'm sorry to say.

For my 60th this year ,my daughter gave me a trip to NY so I could see my brother for the first time in 14 years.

One birthday my ex when i was living with him at the time walked in to the lounge holding a cup cake!! he had put a candle in it and turned off the light and started singing happy bday to me!! He did it sponteniously and it was sooo special.!!

My dad gave me �21,000 for my 21st !
That was pretty cool
But also my daughter made me a little clay birthday cake about an inch big with so much detail on it when she was 6 and that is priceless.

The other half lead me to believe I was having one of those miniature to-scale model cars on April Fool's Day, as he said he wouldn't let me near the real thing. Come the day, he presented me with boxes within boxes, and the final one conatined a gorgeous diamond eternity ring. Then on the birth of our first child, he gave me a diamond and emerald necklace - with the matching earrings when my second child was born. Awww.....

I love all the little things my daughter makes and gives to me, even if its just simply a little note saying she loves me :)

I treasure a birthday card over any present I can think of. From my mum, she thanks me for helping look after my dad who had died a few weeks before, saying she didn't know what they would have done without me. She is not demonstrative and the words would never have been said.
