Never having tried green tea before and reading that it is very good for you, can anyone tell me is it made in the same way as black tea and can you add milk?
Thank you

You don't generally add milk to it. It's more palatable when flavoured unless you're a big fan. There are some lovely varieties made by Twinings, Dragonfly etc. at health food stores or your local large supermarket.
It's vile!!!!
Mind you I'm not a tea drinker of any sort!!
Normal tea is very good for you aswell.

My advice stick to your PG tips with skinny milk. If caffein is the issue just buy caffein free.

And make sure you brew the tea well so all the anti-oxidants come through in the tanning.

I agree Green tea is foul. It is best suited to left-wing loonies who want to ban the bomb and get turned on by dread locks and weird jumpers.
I use instant green tea from Whittards which is really nice, it comes in fruit flavours too...
No, you should never add milk to green tea. It's far better for you than black tea (especially caffeine free black tea which is full of crap.)

I like green tea flavoured with lemon (but then being a left wing loony -and proud of it!- I would, wouldn't I?!)

Thanks everyone.
I may well give it a try being as it's a new year and all that!
Funny thing is, I enjoy it with a meal, but not on its own!
Go on, give it a try.
