Ok people here it is. Cast your vote, i'll take majority of the first twenty. I am AGAINST this disgusting lump of vileness, surely nothing made of almonds should be the colour of the stomach bile - there's something they aren't telling us.

I love it. Just bought some choc covered marzipan today in fact. That way you can't let the colour bother you. This discussion in my office actually prompted us all to nominate 5 items for 'Room 101' because one person, like you, hates it so much they wanted to banish it forever.

I don't like it either. I like almonds a lot though. I wonder if you can get marzipan made from say peanuts, cashews or pistachios? And would they taste nothing like their base ingredient too?

It's the only stuff that ever made me sick - the dreadful yellow colour didn't help. Homemade marzipan which is white, bears no resemblance to the bilious mess that's sold in shops.

Gosh Marzipan is sooo yummm! Best I've ever had it is wrapped in swiss chocolate (but also most sinful as I usually consume the entire boxful in around 15 minutes)
